How we can help:
Our process includes Acupuncture, herbal remedies, and lifestyle changes to consistently work towards health. These changes can bring big results. We individualize each treatment and adjust treatments to meet the changes your body will make throughout the course of treatment.
Our bodies have the amazing ability to heal and find balance. When our bodies are out of balance they often require some assistance to find equilibrium again. Your body wants to be healthy and thriving, we simply help it find the right path.
We get to the root of the mental health distress.
We work on finding the reason for your mental health distress, where it started and why it has continued. As we work towards balance we are able to promote the stability your mind needs and steadily heal your entire system. We can also work in collaboration with your other healthcare providers to create the best treatment plan for you.
We focus on how you feel, not just lab reports and protocols.
Symptoms are the body's way of letting us know about our health. In Traditional Chinese Medicine we rely more on how you feel and the symptoms you experience, rather than just lab reports. Lab reports often show unfavorable results when our body's issues have become chronic or long lasting. We aim to treat and support your body before it reaches those levels whenever possible. We also understand that some symptoms and ailments are not easily recognized in lab reports. We can still treat these ailments through Acupuncture, herbal supplements, and lifestyle changes.
Our approach always includes simple lifestyle recommendations to promote mental harmony.
The way we live our life greatly influences our body’s ability to find health and balance. We can help you to recognize lifestyle choices that may be leading to your current symptoms. We will guide you through lifestyle changes that will greatly benefit your health. Healthy eating and exercise are incredible tools that are often included in our recommendations.
Healing is unique to each individual person.
Everyone’s body is different. Our unique bodies react to changes and treatments in unique ways. We work with you to find the best treatment that fits your unique needs. Our powerful, time tested, and 100% natural therapies work to balance your hormones and get you on our path to better health. These therapies include:
Acupuncture
This time-tested therapy has been used for centuries to create balance and flow within the human body. One of the benefits of Acupuncture is that each treatment can be easily individualized since there are over 2,000 acupuncture points. Using these points acupuncture stimulates our body’s programmed healing response. It restores cells and tissues, encourages the elimination of waste, and creates blood flow to increase healing and decrease pain. Treatments can also be shifted to more gentle or stronger methods depending on what your body is capable of handling at the time. Many people find the treatments to be relaxing and rejuvenating.
Herbal Supplements
Supplements prescribed by your Acupuncturist can aid in continued healing after your treatment. Herbal supplements can support your system to balance, harmonize, and nourish your body. Supplements can have a huge influence on your body's ability to balance hormones.
East Asian Food Therapy
With so many diets available, it can be difficult to know which will benefit your body and help with your symptoms. Asian Food therapy is not a diet, it is a lifestyle change that can bring your body into balance by promoting digestive efficiency. Used since Ancient times, this food therapy prioritizes proper absorption and elimination. We will teach you how to follow this food therapy in a healthy and sustainable way so that you can continue to eat healthy for a lifetime- no crash diet here!
Relaxation & Stress Reduction
When your body is able to relax, it is able to heal on an increasingly deeper level. In this stressful and busy world we have to work to create and find relaxation. When we are able to find true relaxation it can lead to less inflammation, reduced stress, and healing on the cellular level. This leads to better circulation, a calmer mind, more energy, and a better mood.
Detailed Assessment & Treatment Plan
We begin every patient's treatment plan with a 15 minute virtual consultation with our Acupuncturist. This will give you a chance to meet and discuss your health needs. This is also a great time for any questions or concerns you may have. Following this consultation, you will be scheduled for a New Patient appointment.
New patient appointments are between 1.5 and 2 hours. You will meet with the Acupuncturist to discuss health history and lifestyle habits. Following this, you will receive an Acupuncture treatment.
Depending on the severity of your issue, we generally advise that we schedule you for two treatments a week for the first week, followed by weekly appointments. As your symptoms improve, we will space apart your treatments until you are on a maintenance track or however you feel is necessary. Your health goals are important to us and we will work with you in whatever fashion you need.
Consistency is key to our treatments
Depending on the severity of your issue, we generally advise that we schedule you for two treatments a week for the first week, followed by weekly appointments. As your symptoms improve, we will space apart your treatments until you are on a maintenance track or however you feel is necessary. Your health goals are important to us and we will work with you in whatever fashion you need.
Treatment & Symptom Resolution
We schedule for weekly visits to ensure close support as you begin to feel your body establishing a new pattern. We want to make sure your treatment plan is providing you with:
-
Decreased pain, cramping, and digestive irritability
-
Smoother flow of energy
-
Decreased inflammation
-
Restful sleep
-
More “good days” – energy, mood, stamina
-
Regulated internal temperature – no more hot flashes, no more chills
-
And improvement in other symptoms specific to you!
Transitional care as improvements are maintained
As you continue your treatments and we see improvements that are easily maintained we will evaluate your ability to begin spacing out treatments. This usually occurs around (or after) 12 treatments. As stated above, each body is different so this timeline may vary. We will go from weekly visits to visits every 10-14 days, then once a month, then on an as-needed basis for “tune-ups.” Regular maintenance is highly recommended to continue to support your body in maintaining the level of health that you have reached.
Taking care of your loved ones
We take pride in providing care that creates life altering changes. These changes have such an impact that most of our new patients are referred by our current patients. We would love to help your family, friends, and colleagues on their own path to better health – more clarity, more energy, more focus, less pain.
